  • Looks nothing like an American Bulldog, imo.

    • Do you really think she is an amstaff?

Reason I ask is because the line between apbt and amstaff is so easily blurred and its tough to tell her height and stature with the pics. And now you say she is 60 lbs at 6 months; quickly approaching the "standard" weight of a large amstaff.

      • Yea who the hell knows. Her papers say that but I think she's gonna be a big version above standard weight. She is unbelievably strong and I'm concerned that even I will not be able to hold her on leash if she wants to pull. Have to imagine she still has 20lbs to put on by age 2 when she's done growing.

        • Yeah, just like Duke. AKC registered but he's 15-20 lbs heavier than the standard male while still maintaining the standard Boxer shape.

          • Yea I was gonna say but didn't want to offend you over your baby, Duke looks like a boxer on steroids lol.

            • No offense. He's a big boy. Up to 87 lbs he still keeps the lean taper at the hips and you can feel his ribs when you run your finger along his back with minimal pressure. After that he starts rounding out.

This is him 3 yrs ago at 85 lbs or so. My buddy playing with him is 6' 1"

              • Yea he's big. Mines 75lbs. Anymore than that and he gets plumpy looking.

That's you in pic. You weigh same as dog.

                • We saw spawning salmon today at the American river, didn't realize those fucker were like 2 feet long. Damn things are massive. I thought it would be funny to let Cali go see them. We could literally walk right up to them swimming in the shallow water, those fuckers started slapping and splashing right at us, me and Cali ran. :D

                  • I been feeding her 4 tbsp of Peanut Butter as a midday snack between her kibble meals morning and night. Maybe that's why shes gaining weight so fast? She has no body fat on her though I can tell you that.

                    • She pissed on the bed. First accident in a month and she has to go on the fucken bed. I'd kill her if she wasn't so cute.

My dogs just spent 2 days in the icu last week. We left the house for a couple hours (do it all the time), came home and they got the big bag of raisinets of the back of the counter and ate them all.

Everything is fine with them. They induced vomiting got most of it out that way and they were on iv fluids for 48 hours.

Interesting enough, they weren't that concerned about the chocolate saying it was a small amount but the raisins (grapes) were very concerning. I knew they we're bad but didn't realize how bad especially compared to chocolate when chocolate seems to be the big thing everyone knows about.

                              • Glad they're okay. I didn't know that about raisins. I've always been told by vets that the chocolate is over blown and that it takes a large amount to make them sick. None the less, I never let my dogs near it.
