Got into a fight with my mom on my birthday about something similar to this. I find that generation for the most part to be incredibly ignorant about history and how that history shaped us into what we are today. I love my mom but I can't say that I like her very much. Sad to say.

Look at the breathtaking arrogance of these Ohio politicians, claiming that Obama cannot "rename" Mt McKinley as Denali.

No you morons, you guys were the ones who "renamed" the mountain. It was known as Denali for thousands of years. Then some white guy showed up, took one look at the mountain and decided that it is called Mt. McKinley? GTFO...

Not like he tried to name it Mount Barrack lol. If it was always known as Denali prior to McKinley then what's the problem here? I don't get why everything has to be politicized.
