In the mindset of the typical person in this country, starbucks = quality. They aren't quality on any level including coffee. Anytime any type of consumer reports or study like blm posted looks into them, they almost always fail the test. They are absolutely on the same level as fucken mcdonalds but to a typical murican starbucks is on a pedestal. It's for the same reason a person like rado goes to whole foods. he knows next to nothing about the company or their practices, he goes because the marketing worked. my wife just bought some Gevalia because Iit was on sale. It tastes incredible but I swear to god it's all decaffeinated packaged in regular coffee bags.
