  • Cranberry sauce...

    Do you prefer your cranberry sauce jellied or with whole cranberries in it?

    I usually serve both but I think I'm the only one who eats it with the berries.

        i like the whole berries.

        My sauce goes like this:

        2 pounds fresh cranberries
        1 cup sugar
        1/4 cup Grand Marnier liqueur
        1 orange, zested and juiced

        Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor, pulse several times to breakdown the cranberries and incorporate the ingredients; it should still be a bit chunky. Allow the cranberry relish to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, so the flavors can marry.

          I like when you make it from scratch. All you have to do is buy the bad of cranberries in the fresh fruit dept. and the recipe is right on there. Nothing tastes as good as home made.

                  That is almost exactly the way my gf makes it. I love it like that, but I hate it any other way.

                    Love it with whole berries!!! So much better because I was only served it jellied growing up and hated it. Then I tried it with the berries and loved it. The texture alters the taste profile dramatically.
