It's called a calibration disk and beast will not do it.
You guys don't understand. I played PS3 with this guy for a few years and while he is one of the nicest and laid back fellas you will ever know, he is laid back to a fault. This guy and electronics is something out of a circus show. On any given day he would have issues with his mic, his controller, his ps3, the game itself, the tv, the remote, the elctric plug, the speakers, and it goes on and on. His solution to fixing any one of these problems was.. "ehhh ill get a new one at best buy".
trust me when i tell you, he will not tweak or setup anything correctly.
