All depends on what ya do with them..some ducks eat better then others to be honest. I cut the brest out of these..soak in salt water in the fridge for a couple days to pull some of the blood out. Then I put a bit of montreal steak seasoning on them...take a slice of jalapeno pepper slice of pineapple wrap in bacon and grill it until the bacon is just getting crispy..:thumb: SLAMMING!! duck poppers...:grin::grin:Originally posted by MattG View PostNever ate duck before..heard they're kinda greasy and gamey tasting, is that true Rip? Other ducks that aren't as good eating..like diver ducks, I grind up with wild hog and make duck sausage with and bratwurst out of them..very good also.:wave:
Some ducks like woodies and mallard gadwall..I just marinate and grill..not greasy at all. Tame duck you get in restaurants are greasy as fuck.
The way I do it they aren't greasy at all..
