  • Global weapons trade - back draft

It's somewhat ironic that allied forces now face their own weapons and Russians face AK 47's

Not arguing but curious. Which weapons are the allied forces facing? Surely not M16a4's? Thought it was all Russian shit that the terrorists had.

Unless it was weapons given to Iraqi forces or weapons stolen from dead soldiers we didn't leave weapons. Weapons get destroyed prior to leaving. Vehicles are left behind but stripped prior to. Very little makes it back due to costs.

Like I said. They got them from the Iraqi army. My buddies that have been in the shit over there have told me about how much it pained them to throw all the weapons in a big pile and blow them up. Standard protocol.
