Happy Thanksgiving!

What's for dinner? We're doing the whole shebang. I am in charge of baking and I made 6 pies, 2 Apple, 1 blueberry, 1 strawberry and one peach, plus a 6th gluten free apple pie. We are getting together with two of my cousins who live across town. Gonna be a huge feast! :thumup:

Gonna be tons of food with smoked turkey. I look forward to that turkey every year. Nothing like leaving the turkey in the smoker for ten hours. :thumup:

Only had fried turkey once and it was just ok. I felt like I was eating kfc chicken for thanksgiving and that did not feel right. Lol.

This was my first year alone since all of my family moved away. It's also the first time I've ever had a holiday meal at a restaurant. Definitely not the same!

Eating our meal in about an hour and a half from now. Looking forward to the brined turkey and "party potatoes" with cream cheese, sour cream, colby jack, chives and butter. Yum yum
