Disney: 'Star Wars' pulls $57M in evening previews

I think it will be a record destroyer for sure...but Disney has been running a multimillion dollar hype train for 3 years, add that with the nostalgia factor, plus the move away from Lucas, is a surefire way to create a hit.

I am going to watch it in a couple of weeks.

More than any other movie, people seem to go see star wars multiple times. So not only is it the single view factors making them millions but the multiple view super fans making the pot sweeter.

Took the kiddos to see it today. It wasn't bad but there are some things I would have changed. I'd say good overall but rushed and not enough feeling toward the new characters through lack of their story development. It goes from one action scene right to the next with very little dwell time in between so the story of how things got to where they are is lacking and you have no sense of time lapse during the movie while its happening. It seems like the events of the entire movie take place in one or two days but I cant tell. Movie also leaves you hanging for the next installment. I'd give it a B.
