  • Gymnastics equipment (Christmas gift)

Both of our girls are in gymnastics and do really well but they come home and try to duplicate things on furniture, counters, closet shelving, etc.

We decided to get them the bar, rings, and some mats so they can do things at home "safely" and practice until their hearts content.

    HOLY MOTHER FUCK!

I figured it wasn't cheap but I had NO idea just how costly it is for good quality and safe equipment.

Just for a bar and mat. We're looking at $700-1000. Not even including the rings and and additional tumble mats.

    I guessed $300-500, lol.

Guessing because it all has to be high quality or else someone could get hurt. I'm sure you can get some Chinese cheap shit.

Yeah there is other brands out there but the feel rickety and wobble when they're swinging. When my little girls are swinging upside down and flipping around I don't want to question the stability and/or quality.

I have no problems purchasing knock off brands where applicable but this isn't somewhere I want to cut corners. For obvious reasons.

The bar adjusts up to 5 ft and holds up to 125 lbs so it's not like they will grow out of it anytime soon (if ever). Hell my wife can use it.
