There is all kinds of talk of a Pit Bull ban in Detroit after a few people were killed recently. Someone posted a comment that I thought relates well to the gun issue.
"Notable Deaths in US on average? Tobacco Use= 529,000. Medical Errors= 195,000. Unintentional injuries=107,400. Motor Vehicle Accidents =34,500. Human Homicides =28,000. Fatal Dog Attacks=32. If one doesn't think there are at least 32 totally irresponsible dog owners per year in the US they have mental health issues. The REAL reason why US citizens lock their doors at night is NOT because of dogs now is it? In the US there is a People Problem; NOT a Dog Problem."
