ha. you think chris's corner would have thrown in the towel?

by the way, did you see the embarrassing moment when chris's dad grabbed the mic and screamed "that's still my boy!!!". i had to cover my face with a pillow I was so embarrassed for him. awkward as fuck.

          I don't think so.

Yeah he looked embarrassed as he walked away from his dad. Definitely an awkward moment after having your ass beat in front of millions.

I hope Chris gets his belt back. Hes good guy pretty well known in NY. Few guys I know wrestled with him back in the day. He didn't seem to have any passion walking into that fight... luke wanted it bad

I feel like it's imposable to stay hungry at the top. if your always the biggest guy in the gym your not going to train like the 2nd biggest guy in the gym trying to catch you. The end goal is always just to maintain and keep what you already have and that just doesn't push you as hard as reaching for something you don't have.

I don't think that had anything to do with it. He hasn't been champ that long. He's had 3 title defenses. One of which was his rematch. He never really comes off as an exciting fighter. Probably part of the reason he is underrated by many despite his successful career. He has a lot of reason to be hungry.

He said that he wasn't his usual self for the fight due to a lot of personal distractions but he wasn't going into detail because he didn't want to make excuses or take away from Luke's dominating win.

I know one thing for sure. Luke hit with about 5 times the force of Chris. Every single punch or kick sounded like a small bomb.
