  • Hilary should disarm her bodyguards if she believes guns don't keep you safe..

Regardless if you think Trump is an idiot or not, he makes a good point. Tired of the political bullshit of 'do as I say not as I do'..

Trump: Hillary Clinton Should Disarm Her Bodyguards If She Really Believes ‘Guns Don’t Keep You Safe’

On January 3 Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump used a Facebook post to call out Hillary Clinton’s hypocrisy in telling the American people that guns “don’t keep you safe” while simultaneously surrounding herself with “heavily armed bodyguards.”

On December 19 Breitbart News reported that Clinton reacted to the surge in gun sales that followed the San Bernardino terror attack by saying, “Guns, in and of themselves…will not make Americans safer.” She then listed the number of gun-related deaths each year in a way that appeared to suggest guns actually make America less safe.

On January 3 Trump responded with: “Hillary said that guns don’t keep you safe. If she really believes that she should demand that her heavily armed bodyguards quickly disarm!”

Trump is an idiot and Bouncer, frankly what the hell are you doing parroting that guy?

NOBODY says guns are useless for keeping one safe. It is guns in the WRONG HANDS that's the problem. Stop setting up strawmen - this isn't even a legitimate debate.

    Disappointed in you bro.

Not promoting him. I like 1 aspect of him. He doesn't fit the mold, he shakes things up. The current system and our options are shit. Hilary and the rest of the turds will do more of nothing. Trump wouldn't be much of a president but maybe.. just maybe he shakes things up enough to change the system. Maybe future candidates will actually have something to say, maybe they will actually stand for something real. Listening to the candidates talk is like listening to a post game NFL interview. It's such by the book horse shit so as not to offend anyone. Trump doesn't give a shit and that my friend, in this context is a very good thing.

This is her exact quote. “Guns, in and of themselves…will not make Americans safer.”

You see what I mean about playing with words and saying things without actually coming out and saying them? This is political bullshit.

If guns in and of themselves will not make someone safer then why do her bodyguards need them?

No, that's an intellectually lazy interpretation of what she is saying.

She is saying that the standard refrain from the far right that guns protect people is an incomplete story. You also need proper training and proper safeguards to ensure that guns cannot be obtained by people who are mentally unstable or have had intentions. Of course, the key question is what is the best way to accomplish this. Taking what she said and saying "well then, I guess soldiers and police and bodyguards shouldn't have guns either then" is a childish response. It belongs in grade school, not in a presidential debate.

A lot of people love that Trump is not a politician. He is so far from saying what is politically correct that it draws people to him. Not saying I'm a Trump supporter but I like a lot of his ideas. That doesn't mean I think he should be the next president or that I would even vote for him. But at least he is shaking things up and has a pair of balls to say what he thinks and feels. I can appreciate that kinds of honesty. I can guarantee if I had to choose between Trump or Hillary I would choose Trump in a heartbeat.

Trump is a buffoon and will be an unmitigated disaster for the country. I wouldn't let this guy on my city council, leave alone the presidency.

But like they say, every democracy deserves its leaders. And if he is elected, we would have truly deserved him for our own stupidity.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm not a big Hillary fan but she's far better than Trump as a statesman (or whatever the female equivalent is).

It's about the effect something can have scrum. The bigger picture. Trump as President may make Americans wake up and say wtf how did we get to this point! Hilary will be more of nothing.

We need motivation in this country like an obese pig needs motivation to get in the gym. People will sleep through Hilarys presidency.

It's called cutting your nose to spite your face. We don't like the direction the country is going, so lets fly it into the ground.

I think we'll all be surprised at how little any 1 person can do, even the President. It's a system now more than ever. Corporations, military branches, CIA, DEA, FBI. interest groups. None of that shit will change 1 bit. President is the cover face they display to the public. The President is little more than a commercial for a product.

I'm hoping trump shakes up enough shit to cause a fucking reaction and wake people up. Each generation cares less about politics than the previous one. It's boring to people because it all seems so distant and unfathomable. Sometimes a nessisary evil is what's needed.

Sometimes when you've been in shape for years, you need to get fat to realize what being in shape actually means and how important it actually is to you. People are bored and asleep right now and Hilary or Bernie will not be an alarm clock..

Wow you must be psychic to take her one short sentence ( sentence fragment actually)and turn it into all of that! Yet you can call someone else intellectually lazy?
I have a BANNER idea and novel concept , how about if what she meant by her sentence fragment was exactly what YOU determined on your own she meant, why not just freaking say THAT instead?
Perhaps the only intellectually lazy part about this are the people who are foolish enough to be fooled into interpreting a statement such as she made, and turning it into what they THINK it should be, thus in their own, intellectually shortsighted mind agreeing with her unknowingly and being totally fooled by her politically fueled rhetoric!
