Finally got a push of ducks. Hunting out on the coast on the salt in the Layout boat. We have been smacking them pretty good.:thumb:

Common Scoter...some refer to them as black scoters. However all scoter drakes are black...common, surf and white wing. Their Bills have different markings on them and slight different colors on heads.:thumb:

Some people claim they do. personally I cant tell much of a difference. a duck is a duck...:grin: as in most foods its in how you prepare and care for it..then cook it. Its actually very good lean meat. A lot of people say duck is greasy...that's because they are eating farm raised ducks.. not wild ducks eating natural forage..IMHO. any ducks Ive eaten from hunting are not greasy at all and are quite tasty:thumb:
