Anyone here like to bake bread at home?

Busted out the bread maker and baking a loaf of wheat bread right now. Damn, the whole house smells like a bakery. :thumup:

Plan to make some pumpernickel bread or some raisin-nut bread in a couple of days!

Nothing like a warm slice of bread with lots of butter. :D

I rarely eat bread. Maybe on a cheat meal. I do love it though. Throw some butter, pb, honey, apple butter, jelly... I could keep going. lol

I used to live over the top of a bakery in Germany years ago, got to know him well. Every morning on the way to PT.. I would get me a slice of hot bread n butter or a pastry right out of the oven..life was good:grin: I would hook him up with American alcohol and cigarettes..gotta love the barter system:thumb:

I don't but I do remember my mom doing it when I was a kid. House smelled amazing.

Speaking of bread, we got some great sourdough in San Fran. Good stuff.
