30" of snow

Record snow in my area for a 24 hour period. A little too much for my liking but I must say it does look beautiful. Anyone else get hammered by this storm?

I had to go out 3 times to get the driveway opened. My blower is a beast and gets the job done pretty quick.


My boy barking at no one. If a car drives to slow going past my house he acts like someone is trying to break in. lol

I do enjoy the snow blowing. I come in after opening up the driveway and my wife has a homemade apple pie coming out of the oven and a cup of coffee for me. Life is good! :D

Is your boxer protective like that? Man mine is bad. The UPS drive knows now that she has to throw a bunch of treats in the yard or he won't let her up the driveway. lol It's good and bad.

he barks yea but nothing crazy. as he's gotten older hes calmed down. my french mastiff use to go bezerk at anyone including a mother pushing a baby stroller down the side walk. In her eyes she was witnessing a Nazi SS division and she must protect the french vineyard. lmao.

the pitbull barks but wags her tail at the same time, she just wants to say hi to everyone. not human aggressive at all.

There's something that makes it very peaceful when it snows. For one thing there is absolutely no traffic on the roads so it is dead silence when your outside. Love it.

I've said it all of my life, I love the winter/snow...all of that BS it comes with :D Something about shoveling snow and busting your ass, all while still being cold..Good pics man, reminds me of being in shitty ass ohio:D

I don't mind the cold that much unless I'm out for many hours at a time. I prefer doing all my tree cutting/splitting during the winter months.

I have about 10 cords of wood so I'm staying warm inside with the wood stove. It's in our basement but have it tied into our forced air system. Right now it's 75 inside. :D A little too warm for me.

Yea I read something about how fresh snow actually traps sound waives and acts like a sponge so that's one of the reasons it gets so silent. That old fashioned fireplace is awesome.
