No you dumb fuck. Both dogs had gotten lose from the owner. They were picked up as strays an taken to shelter. The owner came in to claim them and decided he didn't want the old dog anymore.

The likes of me wouldn't ever abandon my best bud no matter how old or sick he was. But I've never made it any secret, I don't value human life any higher than a dog. In most cases, I much prefer the dog.
