    Sad day

    Basically public departments are not allowed to refuse to buy services from a business on ethical grounds.

    Most say this is about Isreal and it's genocide like actions against Palestine. So a local authority cannot say "we aren't buying goods or services off an Isreali company because of what is real us doing to Palestine.

    It's a sad loss of freedom in choosing who to trade with which was used to influence south Africa to change its stance if apartheid way back
