The level of violence you have come to accept is not a reflection of alpha. It's pure beta.

You can throw rape stats at me and I wouldn't disagree but we are doing something about it. You are not addressing your problems there. Sorry but it's true.

Keep shooting until there is no threat. 1 rounds or 100 rounds. At the end of the day cops deserve to go home to their family.

But chadd, with repetitive scenes like this people will no longer respect the law and start killing cops in revenge. That's the risk.

I want to know what happened 10min prior to this being recorded. That might help out.

The suspect was told numerous times to drop the weapon and he did not do so. The second he started walking towards the officer with the weapon in hand, it's now turning into an issue of officer safety.

I agree with the police to have taken lethal shots to take the suspect down. When police officers make the decision to shoot they must aim towards large areas of mass such as chest and stomach.

I will agree that "too many" shots were fired and maybe a few rounds would have sufficed. That's instinct and it cannot be controlled. Adrenaline took over and they kept shooting until they believed the threat was eliminated

Bottom line: the suspect should have listened to the police in the first place and his death would have been avoided

So they shoot for the leg, miss since it is a much smaller area than the center of the chest, and the suspect has enough time to potentially inflect injury to the officer.

I think it was one for all and all for one ohsycology after the first couple shots. Cops know this, if only one cop fired, he may be more at risk of being sued and sacked. If all fire you have to sue all of them

Its not repetitive Mr. I. Police don't go around killing people on a regular basis. People are slowly challenging the police and see how far they can push the envelope. That will lead to getting yourself killed. The other side you have police officers that are great people trying to make a difference. We just had 2 deputy sheriff's killed a few weeks ago. One of them said to the suspect "How are you?"

Here's a look into bodycam's worn by Tampa Police Department officers. People are sick, disrespectful, and stupid. I don't blame the officers for their actions. A lot of them keep calm and are respectful. I hope every department gets bodycams so we can truly see how these officers are treated. Also, it can show some of the officers that are true assholes and disrespectful to the badge.

All cops should have bodycams. It goes both ways. If the cop screwed up, then we can figure that out, so there is no situation where they lie through their teeth to cover up something they did. Conversely, it has been shown that complaints against cops dropped significantly once a department (can't remember where it was) got bodycams.
