Pet health insurance

Do any of you guys have any experience with purchasing health insurance for your dogs?

My neighbor had it and they were able to add their dogs on through their existing plan. Not every health care provider offers it, so give your insurance a call and see if they offer it. Be warned, it's not cheap

Yea we had it for years. Never used it once. Probably paid 10k into it. It's one of those things that's nice to have if some big surgery/treatment is needed but ultimately they (the insurance company) always make money on the deal.

Unless you have cash to burn or a big health issue coming with your animals I wouldn't recommend it.
