I'm a dog lover, you all know that. But I feel like this is one of those stories where everyone jumps on a bandwagon without knowing any details.

For example, there really is no situation where someone could shoot my dog without me being right there to see it.

Did she let this dog just run around wherever it wants for long periods? That begs the question, was this dog doing something it shouldn't have been doing? Barking all hours of the night, killing the neighbors cat, being aggressive towards a child?

Just saying, there could be a lot more to this story. Not saying this dog should have been shot, but I guarantee she could have prevented this by being a little more aware of what and where her dog was doing at all times.
