Anybody paid any attention the the saga in Eastern Oregon earlier this year where a bunch of armed ranchers took over a wildlife refuge? Well, this is how it ended.

Classic textbook case of suicide by cop. Also, poetic justice where the video from the perps ended up incriminating them, because they all claimed that OSP fired 100 bullets at their truck.

Not sure why the cops continued shooting the car for do long when in posed no threat

They were armed to the gills. It's a long story. They came armed and took over a wildlife refuge for a month. The cops fired flash bangs and teargas rounds, basically nonlethal rounds to get them out.

The whole thing was basically noncompliance from the start. These weren't some random civilians. These were armed militants who had taken over a federal facility.
