What apps have you guys loaded on the phone? The only ones I have put on are speedtest, Tapatalk and LTE discovery. Haven't really found the need for anything else yet. All the native apps do just fine.

That would piss me off the Fi chip not coming with the phone.
Everything I read about the 6P says it's a top tier phone.

Quick update:
The 6P came in yesterday. Phone is awesome. Fast, no glitches, no bloatware crap, and it updated in a minute.
The fingerprint reader is fast and I love sticking my finger in the back :hibb:
My Google Sim card comes in tomorrow and I'll make the switch
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

But look at the main battery users. Screen, Android system, Android OS, etc.. Doesn't even say YouTube etc..

The CNET article seemed to indicate that you can try Fi for a month for $20 if you don't use any data, so I assume they'll give you $10 back if you use zero data.

Weird. Works great for me. Maybe you watch a lot more videos and other screen intensive stuff than I do.

Battery blows scrum..
All the reviews talk about "full day". I assumed that meant like 5am to 10pm. Not 2pm to 11..
It lasts me no longer than my 2 year old Nexus 5 with a smaller battery.

I just wonder if there is a minimum though. That link doesn't use below 1gb as an example. HahaOriginally posted by Scrumhalf View PostThat's what it said in this link that I posted earlier.

You can call them to verify, but it definitely seems like if you used zero cellular data, you'll only pay 20 bucks.

Fi also has free international text. Something att did not have. I can text mr I. I'll do it right now 20 times because it's 6:30 am Saturday morning in jolly old England. :D

By the way, B&H is selling the 5X for $249 for anyone who wants one but don't want to pay $299 or whatever, or go through Fi. Pretty good price.

In my playing around, doing speed tests is data intensive. I used up almost 100MB doing a couple of speed tests. Pandora streaming was roughly 1MB a minute. So, my 25 minute drive home from work used up about 25MB. The rest of the usage is pretty small, like checking mail, forums, etc.

That's what it said in this link that I posted earlier.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostScrum, let's say all I use is wifi at home, gym etc. for a month and use almost no data at all. Let's say I come out well under 1gig. Say I use 200mb. Will Fi credit me $8 at the end of the month? Thus making my bill $22? :D

Not that I remember. I'd have to go back to 5.1.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostDid you see a big difference when your old phone upgraded from 5.x to 6.0.1? I know that my Moto X on 5.1 loses charge even when it is idle at a significantly faster rate than the Nexus. I haven't had any phone hold charge as well as the 5X does.
I guess I just hear everyone talking about the battery but you'd think I'd see a huge improvement over old nexus 5.
