  • Why is it - most heart breaking scenes in movies

For me involve the departure of a paternal figure from a boys life, or death of animal.

I hate it when dogs die. I remember in high school I went to, My Dog Skip, I cried in front of my date...

ha, same here. seems there is a connection with roided up fellas and a love for animals. also abandonment issues. i will someday become so big that i eat my turd father as a protein snack. :D

for me i think it's about trust. I trust animals. Humans have let me down so many times that I have a hard time seeing past it. I struggle with it everyday. I always assume that someone is trying to hurt me or take something from me so I'm always in "ready to do battle" mode. It's a curse.

I have difficulty emotionally attaching myself to people but dogs I have no problem loving. My dog got hit by a minivan and hurt her leg, I freaked out and was hysterical, I still have flashbacks. I've seen human with huge holes in them gushing out blood and had no emotional responce and to this day I can reflect back and I have the memory but no other emotion other than curiosity at what the wound looked like.
