I say we get out of all those countries and force the UN and NATO to take a bigger role in policing the world. Right now we police the world but only in areas that suit our economic interests and these decisions are decided by the economic elite controlling the political and military elite.

See that is one thing that does separate "liberals" from "conservatives" people that tend to be a little more liberal, are open minded. If we are the assholes, we recognize that and work on changing. Where conservative people are more closed minded and selfish. They believe everybody should believe and act as them and just fall in line.
