    Looks wise I agree 100%.

    Having had both though and considering day to day living, there is something comforting and warm about carpet.

      I think I would just add a rug where needed. Lot easier to keep clean.

        I did that in the Chicago apartment. It wasn't the same. Plus if you have dogs be prepared for scratched wood.

        Arm & Hammer Baking Soda sprinkled all over the carpet once per month and left to sit for an hour makes your carpets smell brand new even with dogs. Every 3rd day vacuuming is also a must with dogs.

        If anything is spilled, (grape juice, blood, coffee) a spray product called 'Awesome' gets anything and everything completely out.

        Again though, I agree wood floors look amazing. No comparison.

            Agree on carpet. I can lay there whenever. Besides, no shoes are ever allowed inside.

                            I'll take more pics in the next days of the building. Not sure on carpet yet, other than replacing the current one. Looking at different carpet materials today and colors.

                            Replacing the lighting today and buying a stackable washer dryer combo
