Great sport in of itself but there is alot of elitism I notice in those that practice.

So many you tube vids of bjj practitioners defeating bigger guys played over and over.

But nobody goes on and on when a powerful striker takes out a bjj guy;

I've trained with a lot of good guys and I've only seen a few that can't let go of their ego. I guess I've been pretty lucky. Your first video is an MMA fight. Mir was getting his face pounded in, I really don't think he had the chance to better his position. Put them both in a strictly bjj match and I will put my money on Mir.

Yes exactly mma is just that, I've trained bjj too and found it very tough and fantastic on of itself. But alot of the guys consider it the be all and end all. The reality is its not and it's very hard no Gi to deal with someone that's a bigger more powerful striker with some take down defence
