This has to be one of the most rewarding things a human could possibly do. Imagine the power you must feel just ripping around in one of these fuckers. Probably the closest you can come to playing a god. Sad to think that computers and AI will soon make human pilots a thing of the past. The word "hero" will fade into the past as an old concept. Kids in the future will watch the movie Top Gun and think.. "eww looks dangerous and icky". Hormone levels will be in the single digits and robot girlfriends will be preferred. Kill me now.
