    Got a number of options subject to finance. Cheapest are 2 offers to stay w friends one if florida, the other norcal

    I will probably do one of the above

    Next, birthday is October so looking at South Africa

    Potentially room for a third again subject to penny pinching and for this I was thinking Costa Rica. Here's my question about CR;

    Is it really about jungle trekking ? I mean like if I was to go to CR and not jungle trek would that be a waste of a journey and are there easy jungle tour options if my mobility endurance is an issue?

    Otherwise, what are people's recommendations for CR? Is it best to do all inclusive or just stay in regular joints with breakfast then get out and tour like you would in the US?

    Scrum I know you've been

    I don't think there are many options for all inclusive in Costa Rica like there are in Mexico and other parts of the Caribbean.

      I'll also add that you've mentioned that your on more of a budget now. When I think of a budget vacation I don't think Costa Rica. It's going to be at the very least twice the price of a normal Caribbean Island trip. Have you ever been to Punta Cana? Some of the nicest beaches in the Caribbean, everything is all inclusive, and it's probably cheaper than Cancun. I get it, it's no Costa Rica but it's beautiful and relaxing in its own right.
