I get it but if you miss having Rocket around, why not reach out to him? Did he leave because you're a douche or was there another reason. Was there a misunderstanding? Maybe he'd tell you to screw off or maybe he'd appreciate you reaching out to him.

something else happened with rocket that I'm not sure about. not sure if he was getting some heat on the steroid boards or what. i believe his phone was also changed. not sure what happened but I'm pretty positive it didn't have anything to do with me.

I think it's the lifestyle that brings people together, but it's everything else that keeps them coming back. There really is just a limited amount of new fitness and nutrition information that interests the majority.

I have an analogy that has nothing to do with Bouncer (I don't know the history with the aforementioned people), but I think applies with any community or program with a hierarchy.

A popular business philosophy is employees don't leave a company they leave their supervisor. Meaning they may not like a change or a policy, but ultimately it's what they deal with day to day that determines if staying is worth it or not.

I don't lift or use AAS anymore, but I have other fitness interests. I like finding new information on health and nutrition. But what makes me log in? I log in when I am looking for a mental break from my work day. So that means I may be looking to blow off some steam with some simple debate over trivial topics or just laughing and busting balls with the group. If coming here would give me a feeling of irritation or leave me feeling negative it would prevent me from logging on. At the end of the day, it's the people not the topics that make this environment.

Lifting helps me so much mind and body. I truly love it. I can't fathom how anyone would stop. To me it's like not wanting there to be sunshine.

But I used leave this board then come back off and on. I'll be honest, what made me take off was the inactivity. And I'm not being a dick or rude in any way, just beine honest. I mean you can only read "Bouncers playlist" or how "Rado is moving" so many times before you just get board. And there was a negative vibe here. I think the negative vibe made people afraid to post.

But I will say that was all in the past and things are different around here now a days. I like that Bouncer is staying positive and keeps moving forward.

                  Haha funny shit Frank.

Agree with the rest as well. Board was shit for awhile with nothing of use for people here interested in the subject matter.

There was a time where I couldn't see a life without lifting. I guess I didn't do it for a love of the iron before. It was a way to look good and it's a huge time commitment. Now I want to be healthy and look good, but don't need to looked jacked to get that feeling. It's more enjoyable for me now to play soccer, do recreational activities and work in the yard. I can't move a bunch of weight, but I don't have a need to.

At the core I think we all hate living in a fat world. Here we have created a utopia. Regardless of what an individuals current condition is, we have a world where fit strives over fat. It's a fragile line though between utopia and enslaved cult.

I left for nearly 10 years myself and it had nothing to do with the board. Like Bouncer said, change in lifestyle. I got a family and didn't touch a weight. I didn't even think about it. Gravitated back into the lifestyle and of course I had to come back here since this is where it started for me. I missed all the drama over the years

                                Some good posts!

Glad the board is making a positive move forward, I'm part to blame for the bs around here as well. At the end of the day, ALL of us just wanna have a bit of fun and with that, take some of that fun into a learning experience, hopefully for the good.
