It was obvious the dog had no interest in the people attacking it, it just wanted the beta dog dead. If it was a child in the jaws, or my child specifically, No need to distract it. Gut it with a blade.

I think if it was any of our kids or dogs we wouldn't hesitate to get in there head lock the attacking dog, start gouging eyes, trying to rip apart the jaws. Whatever it took.

Like I said in the other thread you had about dogs. I always have a knife. Someone else probably doesn't and wouldn't have that option. I sometimes leave the house without my gun but I always have a knife. I've even got a single use balistic plastic one I wear on a necklace that looks like a bear claw with a loop for your finger for rare times when I have to go through a metal detector and can't have a real blade.

what's funny is that every time I post an updated pic of my pup as she gets older Mr.I makes a thread about this kind of thing. posted her 11 month old pic yesterday and sure enough this popped up a few hours later. not sure if your aware mr.I but you did the exact same thing the exact same day I posted her 9 month and 10 month old pics as well. i actually made a comment to myself yesterday wondering how long it was gonna take for you to post a bad dog story. you didn't disappoint.
