  • Love cleaning my car

All cleaned up, figured I'd make a quick video to post on here and on the VW forum.

The Nexus 6P shot this perfectly and it's available to watch in 1440. My brother was recording.

Not quite. Had to park it in the garage before the thunderstorm hit (which never did)

You're right, just a golf with a turbo attached to it

so true. VW people do seem to absolutely love their cars.

hey dna did you get any sort of compensation for that whole vw lieing about gas milage thing last year?

After the little bit of work to it, it's fun in a straight line now. The stock suspension and low horsepower made it fun in the corners.

Once I get stiffer suspension and stickier tires, it will be even more fun in the corner

Thanks man. I'll still always continue to tinker with cars as I get older. Next year I plan on upgrading to an Audi S4. They're also bringing back the turbo (goodbye supercharger) to the new S4's

All good fun. I remember back when coil overs were the things to have. I remember dropping a bc12 engine in my dx hatchback;) I'd be impressed if you knew what I just said, and don't google it motherfucker :D

I remember when I got my first acura type r, always drove the civic...and we put a new map in the ECU, did cams, altered my timing, all that shit....those were the days

Every time Dana drives around the block in his VW, a polar bear cub dies. Way to go, you jerk! :fight:

No compensation because it only affected the TDI's (turbo diesel)

A few my buddies got $500 in compensation for 'damages' because their TDI's were effected.

People still slam cars on coilovers. It's all about air ride now. Before my blue GLI got totalled, I had it slammed on coilovers with 18" BBC RC wheels. Had to spacers in the front so it didn't rub when I turned the wheel lol

Honda's these days are all about K20 swaps, turbos, and 75 shots of nitrous.

Built B16, B18, and even single cam motors run decent power. Around here people love to turbo their single cam motors from the early 90's. Claim they're bullet proof and stupid fast

I thought they were fudging the numbers on the gas engines too.

I haven't heard anything substantial with that. There were rumors about it
