I was dealing with a few inches of snow on the ground and a windchill of -11C today. Winter really is here...dammit!

Well...next time we'll make plans. You're welcome to pitch a tent in my back yard. :)Originally posted by Cory
I'm leaving first thing in the morning hunny!! I'm driving...it's about 10 hours, but I love road trips and I usually split it up and pitch a tent and camp somewhere along the way!! :)

Damn...that is fun! I only went snow mobiling once, it was up in BC Canada...kinda scarey at times though as our guide took us up some mountain along some old logging roads, very curvey...just a little too far to the left and you'd fall down the mountain. I liked it once we got to the open areas though.Originally posted by canadagold
I hope there is more cause when I get home for xmas I want to do some of this!!!
We also went dog sledding. I was "driving", the dogs got wrapped around a tree and they were fighting with each other, blood all over the snow, our guide had gone off ahead of us, so I was stuck standing on the break for a good 10 minutes trying to hold the sled in place until he got back and untangled us. He explained that since it was early in the season the dogs were still fighting for order in the pac and that's why they were so agressive. It was a great experience and if I ever have the opportunity to do it again I will...just later in the season when the dogs are more controllable. LOL
