  • The Biggest Guy In The Gym.. Not Today!

So I'm used to being "that" guy at my gym. Probably because at the time I train (10am) nobody is there. :D

Anyway, out of about 30-40 people in the gym I'm pretty much always "that" guy at my small gym here in NorCal. Anyone bigger is usually out of shape. It makes you feel good but you also don't have much to chase after if your the top dog.

Today however top dog became second best. This wasn't the typical midget bodybuilder either, this dude was my height but easily 50 lbs heavier than me and he was NOT fat at all. So were talking 6'1 275lbs lean.

Gotta admit, I'm so used to strutting around that this fella kinda took me by surprise when he walked in. I found myself having jealous type thoughts for a brief period until I realized I was being beta as fuck.

I immediately changed my way of thinking and used his size advantage to my own advantage. He made me realize that I need to work harder on every level to achieve the goal I want to achieve. I now have that fuel I need to kick it up a notch, I now have someone I can chase after.

Anyway, that's my neat story for the day. :D

I love to shout shit like that across the gym to my buddies. I also love to shout "The bottle of test you gave me made my dick shrink."

I also think , as lipripper told, that always will be somebody faster, stronger, etc.
You need to love yourself in the way you are and make youself faster, stronger ))

I feel conflicted every time I work out because of a situation similar to this. I'm the biggest guy at my gym and likely in my town but my workout partner is 50 lbs lighter than me and is just as strong as me on a couple lifts. He is a freak of nature though. FFMI close to 25.5 natural and hovering between 11 and 13 percent bf all year long.

I go to a super juiced up gym, any given moment there are probably 15 dudes who juice heavily at the gym. We have dudes that compete in NPC shows and IFBB (the ifbb guys are physique competitors) We also have some big former football players that might not be the leanest...but they got freakish size and height. I actually feel kinda small in my gym sometimes. That might be my body dysmorphia/bigorexia but it still drives me crazy. I will get to the top.
