she cook you anything good? thats one of the great things about my mom. half Italian half "white Russian" she takes her cooking seriously. huge pots of shit. leftovers for a month.

that reminds me. what the fuck does "white russian" mean? when ever she talks about our family she says we are Italian on my grandfathers side and "white russian" on my grandmothers side. i always had heard that meant Ukrainian or polish because i read something about it but recently on some show they refereed to it differently. When I do a search on it I'm lost. Slavic? Just Russians with white skin rather then the Siberian darker peoples? Anyone have a fucken clue?

Beautiful. It's funny because a large part of what I know of your country and it's scenery comes from top gear. So when I look at those pics I get a picture of hammond, may, and clarkson up to some shenanigans.

Well apparently that's the specific area my grandmother side is from. Northern Italy on grandfather side. Some of the people on Italian side have red hair believe it or not. Like Mario Batali. Lol

Very pleased I made the trip. Mum wants me to stay for the week so I'll come back another time. Going back early morning. Sadly a buddy I brought with me who's from same town I grew up with has seen his mum and dad and his dad's dementia is really depressing him so needs to come away
