Do you cut stuff up in the pan? That and stirring with a metal fork seems to wear them out pretty quick. Mine is 4 years old and in better shape than your 2 month old one...

no i only use plastic spatula matt. i think its because i cook my chicken with salt or hot sauce and i like to cook it till it browns aka almost burns. lot of times i'll cook my next chicken meal in the burnt stuff cause it has flavor. so basically the salt and hot sauce sort of caramelize and sit there and i think over time it eats the pan. that 2 month old pan isnt some cheap shit pan either, its a Circulon which if you look it up is a damn nice pan.

i guess I'll stop cooking my chicken until almost burnt and stop leaving the shit sitting in there.

get that copper chef. Im no infomercial junkie and think most of that stuff is garbage but this pan works awesome. You literally cant get something to stick if you try and its solid not coated so it doesnt wear or peel. Cleaning the thing is awesome too, you pretty much just wipe it out.

You have to use the rubber coated cooking tools. My wife spent like $500 on new pans a while ago. I make sure nobody use metal in them and never put them in the dishwasher. Just like my knifes, I paid a lot of money for them so I baby those things....lol

I hear ya brother. As much as I cook a good knife set is essential. Mines probably not as nice as yours but it was a good $125 a few years ago on sale black Friday. You can tell which one I use the most, god damn handle coating came off. LoL. I use the fuck outta my cooking stuff.

Guess I'll have to get some better pans and cooking tools. I only use the wood or plastic ones but still seems to scratch.
