I think the swat team should of used pepper spray and captured him. Then gave him a full trial and if found guilty lock him up. then give him counseling and rehabilitation so he will turn into a functional part of society.

I also think we should take all the guns away from every one. If we pass a law then everyone will come and turn them in. Then there will be no more killing in America. If they don't turn them in we can put them on trial and put them in jail too. If someone did ever commit a crime using something else as a weapon it would be unheard of and then we would need to have a discussion and put laws into place banning those as well so everyone will be safe.

Best part of all this will be there will be no more violence in our country because the tools that make people do these violent acts will not be available anymore.

Then we can build a fire roast marshmallows and have a sing along every night

Only one way to stop gun violence is not to have any guns. Not that I think we should get rid of all guns but honestly thats the only way to stop it.

I agree something needs to change but I have yet to hear of a good solution. Obviously banning all guns will not happen. If there are still loopholes in the gun purchasing system (which I think most have been closed) I'm all in favor of tightening them up.

You have to think big Chad... Yes rubber bullets. Of course criminals could always make their own ammo but over time that will get harder. And some crackhead out robbing people isnt going to take the time to make his own ammo. Over time the lethal rounds will disappear.

Tired of hearing this being labeled as a terrorist activity. This is a hate crime, claiming yourself as ISIS before killing people doesn't count for shit.

This guy has serious mental problems, and the interview they had with his ex-wife proved it. He was investigated by the FBI twice and they found no substantial evidence to prove anything. I think that's just a lazy investigator that didn't check anything in detail. On top of that he legally got a gun, that shouldn't have happened.

To make matters worse he's an Afghan American that was born in New York and then moved to Florida. Afghans have enough heat on them, this doesn't help at all.

i was with you on the first half. about people turning in their weapons etc.. agree there, nobody would except the law followers.
