We were in Paducah Kentucky. very cool little old historic town. We stayed right down in the historic district near the river. they have really kept the history of the town alive. Surprisingly, the night life there was great!! excellent little bars and restaurants, live music great food outside dining/drinks and reasonable pricing on everything. Sheri Found this amazing condo to rent... Im thinking a studio like apt...Hell No..this place was 3800 square feet in an building from the 1900's right in the historic district for ..get this...$150.00 a night! crazy!!! we had a great time at the wedding, but even more fun in town eating having a few drinks and just checking out the place..!! If ya ever are there..you MUST go to the bar/ restaurant called Shandies the service, food, atmosphere and drinks were off the charts..GREAT place and good pricing...
A few shots...

I've heard of Paducah. There is a song about it called "somethin in the water" by the Legendary Shack Shakers. There was a nuclear site in Paducah that was poorly maintained/managed and contaminated the drinking water and caused a lot of mutations on people from the well water and maintenance workers that were goven little to no personal protective equipment from way back then. There was even black radioactive ooze found in 1999 prompting cleanup and further investigation of bad practices storing nuclear waste. Bad time and lots of lawsuits. Still ongoing contamination issues.
Anyway glad to see you had a good time. Hope you didn't drink any well water
