    Prednisone

    So after a week of having bad reaction to poison ivy/oak/sumac/lotus (whatever the fuck I was exposed to) I went to the doctors today. Long story short the stuff is in my blood and slowly spreading.

    Vitals are fine and I was given meds and told to go home. One of the meds I'm on is prednisone 10mg. Holy shit! The amount of energy and the way I feel is astonishing. I'm on the loading phase right now. So it's 6 pills a day for 5 days before tapering off to 1 pill a day.

    All I want to do is walk around and do random shit. I had a light workout after the doctors visit, but holy shit I feel like I slept 10hrs with an IV of caffeine. It's storming it's ass off right now, only thing I think about doing is going for a walk outside with headphones on

      yea i've heard of prednisone being described as the "house cleaning drug". people get all kinds of chores done on it for something reason. lol

          Tell me about it. Also noticed this stuff makes me sweat a lot. After a cold shower I was dripping in sweat within minutes. On top of that I couldn't fall asleep. I'm normally out by 1am or so, but last night it was 5am and I was wide awake lol

            It could cause a little more upset stomach (have food on board) but taking all of the pills with breakfast should help with the insomnia.

              No upset stomach thankfully. Yes I took it yesterday and today around 11am

                If you get that big of a boost on prednisone, then that means your adrenals are most likely stressed out. Prednisone is basically cortisol.
