And they thought cops were on edge before? shit could get real ugly..hopfully there wont be any "copy cats" start popping uup in other citys in the near future and this dies down or it could get real ugly.

From a tactical stand point the scumbags that did this planned it well and made a good hit..except they didn't have an exfiltration plan worth a shit. It just goes to show how easy a little planning can go a long ways. People really have no clue how easy it is to hit a soft target and be successful.

It's truly sad that humanity in our country needs to fight for their own lives.

I get we have more good cops than not, I get it. However it's also very disturbing to know that LEO are not necessary our friends, but rather an outcast.

I feel for both parties, I do. Not gonna lie, but I'm in a down mood today due to all of this bs going on.

          scary times.

a war between cops and civilians can't be good for anyone. hopefully this doesn't continue to escalate. a cop that feels under threat will be even more trigger happy. leading to civilians feeling under threat which will lead to an increase in attacks on cops. suddenly we get into a situation that spins out of control.

cops gotta be taught better ways to control themselves and their fears when they have their finger on the trigger. the only time it should be ok to use deadly force is if deadly force is being used against them. killing someone as they are running or NOT holding a weapon should be number 1 priority at new cop training system.

I agree and am sure it is ...scumbags need to also be accountable for putting them and the cops in that situation..its a two way street bro...

Scumbags aren't going to be accountable or follow the rules bro. It's up to the professionals to come up with a system that protects both the police and the public.

If your argument is "nothing will change until the scumbags change" well then your basically saying nothing will ever change. Someone needs to come up with a better way. Take the lead and implement changes in how things are done. Think outside the box so to speak.

Those guys had training, they knew how to move and use cover and concealment. Not panicking, heads on a swivel. Weren't your run of the mill wacko.

you took what I said out of contex...I didn't say that..I said both sides bro... Its a two way street..... cops need to control their emotions better in tense situations and scumbags need to show a bit of respect to the police... with out two sides changing nothing will work..your saying only the cops need to change..you sound like scrum for Christ sake... everyones fault but the guy doing the crime..

No bro. Criminals will not change. The system needs better management. You cannot expect people that have nothing to lose and nothing to live for to "play their part and change". Criminals do not follow the rules. But that does not give the right to cops to shoot first and ask questions later.

so bad guys do what the fuck they want when they want..but the cops have their hands tied behind there back and have to serve tea and cupcakes...now you sound like a fucking politician telling the army to go to war...but don't shoot the enemy stand there get shot at..then ask for permission to shoot back...you should run for president:thumb:

Not at all what I'm saying.

I'm making the point that criminals will never "play their part". So it's up to the good guys to figure out a better strategy to deal with it. You cannot depend on a criminal to have a role in fixing the issue.

correct..but the mindset that gets put into their little heads when they are kids that the police are bad...grows into what they are and what we have in this country today... two way street:thumb::grin:
