But seriously, if somebody breaks into your house of course you call the cops. They should get there as fast as possible and save the day. But unfortunately there are so many dumb ass cops, they come charging in guns blazing and end up killing your kid or your dog....lol

Yeah that's a scary precedent they started. It will probably continue in the near future to police drones with tazers built in that can fly just about anywhere.

Protesting police and then running BEHIND police when shots rang out...tells me everything I need to know. Also, the police that were being protested against did their duty to save people, people that hate them. If you seriously think the majority of police are corrupt, be sure not to call them in an emergency.

They are protesting the wrong doings by the police. Doesn't mean they don't want police protection when it's needed. You speak out against our government all the time, doesn't mean that you hate the country.

I personally don't think the majority are bad but I do think there are far to many "ego cops" out there.

Um. Have you seen some of the posters and heard what some of the protester say? A ton of them have nothing but hatred for the police.

Main problems with police:
The good ones won't tell on their stupid "brothers in blue"
It became a for profit business. Many city budgets thrive on police revenue.
It went from peace officer to law enforcement.
The war on drugs

I watched a Frontline episode the other day. 75% of cops doing the right thing but the other 25% doing random shit like slamming people on ground for "not complying" when all the guy did was ask why. That 25% ruins it for the 75%.

And I'm all for protesting. But get out of the fucking road and protest. Streets in Atlanta closed all night due to "protesting". That isn't a protest.
