  • Been out of gym for 2 weeks

I will say this...I've not felt this good in a long time. I'm talking about my joints/ tendons etc in shoulders/ elbows/ wrists etc. Wow what a difference. I have put a few lbs back on back up to 205. But Im missing the gym. Gonna start getting back in there Monday. I must say, with those muscle relaxers( haven't taken any in 4 days) the Dr gave me and a little time off I think its really done me a world of good.:thumb:

We are leaving in the morning for a short trip to Panama city beach to see an old Army bud, do some fishing and just chill at the beach then Monday it'll be back to the grind at work and start hitting the gym again..

I been out a month and im gonna rage soon.

I'm about 90% healed and I'll be back in the gym soon but God damn I need it mentally.

I'm just doing my best to keep in mind it's a good thing and it's a time of healing for my entire body.

Anyway, glad your feeling better brother. Ease into it when you get back. That's my biggest fear, last thing I want to do is re- injure myself and have to go through the recovery process all over again. Definitely make sure your fully healed before going back.

Right on jack. I been pushing through the pain because I couldn't bare the thought of taking a break from training for even a month.

Are you out and walking, Bouncer? Use your down time to spend some quality time in the woods. Pack a lunch and you can easily do a 6 or 8 mile hike.

yea but the thing is when we walk we gotta take the dogs cause it's just not fair to leave them in the house. the pit is to strong for my girl so if she sees a squirrel or something she will drag her down the road. so that means I gotta walk the pit. well, with my shoulders healing the last month that has been pretty much imposable.

but yes we have gone on walks just carefully and not usual long ones.
