bro did you actually watch the entire fight or just some random clips on some whackjobs facetube page?

if there was any fight that WASN'T a "work" this was it. Diaz face was blown up, Conor was dead tired. this time conor had been working with a a southpaw and a guy that was over 6 feet. he adjusted his game and that's what showed.

nate tried his hardest to take him out, he kept coming at him and there was a few times against the cage that was tough for conor but the clock saved him.

that was a fight between 2 guys that gave their all. nobody held back.

I think conspiracy type people look for the conspiracy in everything and they actually see it and believe it. The mind is a powerful thing.

And the thing is, every once in awhile there is in fact a conspiracy especially when it comes to government.

But to a mind like Mr I this only serves to strengthen his belief that EVERYTHING is a conspiracy. If we try to tell him it's sunny in Cali right now he'll assume it's bullshit and it's in fact raining.

No your just being melodramatic now instead of simply respecting that I have a different opinion.

You see the amount of times I've seen a hyped "bad blood" situation and you know dam well it will be a trilogy whatever it takes, combined with the admission of people in the game through from its beginning, you realise it's its actually common sense.

You drop the word conspiracy in to invoke drama. I don't think it really applies in the case of a sport lol @ conspiracy

I think 2 fighters have made alot of money off the hype of the first fight. The way to make the most going forwards is to turn it into a trilogy and I knew dam well Diaz would lose this fight accordingly and said so. It's that simple, it's just the entertainment business. Make of it what you will

mr i, can you explain what part of the fight in particular you could tell was a "work"? how exactly can you tell? maybe if you point out something in particular it would help people see something specific.

or is your explanation simply "it was a work and that's that" sort of like a Donald trump like argument where statements are made without anything really to define or explain the details.

Are you kidding me? I mean you want me to digress into detail about who did what that was a work technically in the fight, when the whole thing has been a huge blatant circus from the start, Macgregor is fighting two weights above and the only guy they could get that had only 2 weeks notice was someone that along with his brother were pretty much done

The whole thing has been a work from go and is completely a thing of hype

Who, of an intelligent informed audience gives a shit about a loud mouth ostensibly stepping up but in fact only stepping up to a done second tier fighter of that class? Just so connor can say he stepped up lol

Diaz dropped and submitted him in a jiffy after taking shots and winning the standing trade it was a total missmatch. But Diaz guaranteed more money than ever before in genuine evenly matched fights at 155 or 170, guess what else guarantees making more money when the rematch came? Bro everyone knew and I'm sure I'd mentioned it on here before the fight even started. What would you have done in Diaz shows given where he's at career wise, what would squishing the dwarf again have done for him other than getting that night's pay? Nothing.

And please don't start on about the blood on Diaz, he and his brothers faces are scar tissue city before they start and hence bleed for fun
All he has to do is stand there while macdwarf does touch butt and run and it's pure theatre. It was a done deal way before and the hype wE just part of the circus, look; Pancrase., much it pride, kings of the ring or whatever were works, shamcrocs out of lions can were doing it long ago. It's the fight game and it happens more than you would care to know

Nate Diaz shoots down allegations that he

I absolutely agree there are fixed fights and yes there is a lot of money to be made out of a trilogy but fixed fights usually don't happen that way. Here is a classic example of a fix in boxing a few years back.

                              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkmrmrnD1d8

If you watch the fight Diaz had Conner hurt and rocked him a few times. That doesn't happen in a fix because the the other guy isn't going to risk hurting his opponent when he is being paid to lose (or whatever the arrangement).

Heres the highlights. Conner has way quicker hands in this fight and some pretty good boxing. check out some of the counterpunching.
