Hopefully I'll get the update soon. Besides decreased battery life, I've noticed a bug that briefly freezes your phone when you go from your texting app to the home page.
Enroll in the beta testing program bro. You can opt out any time. This update fixes all the bs from 7.1.1. it's speedier, no little split second hiccups, no battery drain etc..

By the way, got my girl on Fi. We are now saving a total of $90 a month compared to sprint. Yet Fi comes with better cell reception (3 cell providers instead of 1 like sprint), Fi has free international text unlike sprint, free tethering unlike sprint and customer service takes 2 seconds to get a hold of and will give you a $20 dollar credit for the slightest inconvenience.

Fi may not be for everyone, especially for those on big family plans. But in my case it's literally saving us thousands per year compared to sprint without sacrificing anything at all. I'd have a nexus or pixel phone regardless so for me Fi has just been amazing.

I hear you bouncer. I might as well do that. As much as I loved Fi, this unlimited data through AT&T is too good. For 5 consecutive months, I was hitting 5GB's of data with Fi and that was killing my pocket. 5 lines with unlimited everything coming out to $340 a month plus a free IPhone 7+ 128GB, can't beat that.

lets think about this. 5GB on fi is $50 a month. so if 5 phones on FI were each using 5GB per month the total would be $250 per month. that's $90 less per month then you are paying. that "free" phone is not free. the savings difference between FI and your current deal comes out to $1080.00 per year.

so lets be real here. if $50 a month was "killing your pocket" what is $340 a month doing?

be honest. you are on your dad's plan and he pays for the whole family.

Speaking of tethering, since my Nexus 5X was originally through Fi, it doesn't have tethering locked down like stupid AT&T. I was tethering the other day and it worked like a charm.

Nice little loophole that I'm sure ATT will eventually catch onto.

It's 5 lines. My grandmother, brother, mother, and father with 2 phones financed through AT&T. I pay my own 'share' via autopay. Everyone uses an iPhone except me and my grandmother. This price also includes directTV. Honestly, still not bad

With Fi I could tether all day long. Once I put my AT&T sim in, it auto locked it. I have to pay an additional monthly fee to use that feature. Fucking gay

got the second beta version of 7.1.2 today. battery is much improved. unplugged phone this morning 8am (1:40pm now) and battery is still at 94% with normal use, tapatalk, email, text etc.. would have been around 85% before update. glad they are working on shit that matters.
