YouTube Red---anyone use it?

Anyone use it? I've had it for almost a year now and although very nice, I'm sick of paying $9.99 every month when I can use similar apps for free; so you'd wonder why the fuck am I posting.

Well does anyone use an app for music where you can search for a specific song, album or band...where you can stream off or on network, where you can close the window screen while music plays and best of all, I mean this is YouTube right? It basically gives me suggestions based on my music?

I can also download all of my songs into a playlist and no network is needed, neat.


I had pandora for free and I thought about paying the $4.99 a month for it....I'm a cheap ass for shit like this:)

And I loved my Pandora...for many years I've used it for free...but I didn't like how you really can't set it up like red...i agree, $9.99 for red is a bit much....

I thought red was great, but $9.99, like you said, is a lot. I would pay around $4.99 for red. I've also had spotify in the past. I think I had a student discount a couple of years ago for Spotify. I just use Pandora for free and YouTube if I want a certain song.

I've tried them all and Spotify is the best. Especially the song radio option.

Well I just went ahead and continued on with red....wish they'd drop to 4.99 but they won't.

I used some trial version a while ago and it was cool, but I agree that $9.99 is not worth it. Unless you have unlimited data and you're constantly on YouTube for hours upon hours, it's not worth it

I've got unlimited, always had it....but oh well....I'll keep looking, i can cancel it anytime

Well, the 2nd question is, how often do you use YouTube on a daily basis? If it's more than a few hours, might as well keep it

Not YouTube bro, it's red....i listen to it quite a bit...i don't care for stupid videos, just music
