Brilliant move for the Davidson's to offer free maintenance training during WW1 so that after the war all the military guys knew how to fix and maintain a Harley making it more likely for them to buy a Harley after the war and simultaneously build a huge loyalty. That's the moment in history they gained the advantage over Indian.

The last episode was a bit weak IMO. First of all they skipped ahead like 20 years after episode 2. The problem is, right at the end of episode 2 major shit was going down and they never really picked up where they left off.

The aging of the people was terrible. Some people still looked like kids while others looked like they aged 50 years. It was comical.

And as long as the series was they kind of ended it abruptly without ever really explaining what happened to Indian and how Harley eventually went on to dominate. I feel like with all the time they had to tell the story, I still don't have the whole picture.

I also have to ask myself how much Harley Davidson paid for this. It's very rare that anyone let alone an entire company has such a spotless history as this "fact based series" implied. Surely they must have done something that was equal in "evil business tactics" to what Indian or Ford tried to pull. Especially in the depression years. This series would have you believe that they were flawless angels and I just don't believe that is the whole truth. So while I enjoyed the series I always had the sense that it was a bit of a commercial for Harley.
