Chadd... Roughly...how much does one have tied up in a truck like that?

It's so hard to tell. He does all the work himself so he saves a lot of money that way. And he has some sponsors too so he gets a lot of parts for free or at cost. But still has a ton of money into it. His transmission only holds up for a couple races and then he needs to be replaced again. lol My guess is as it sits - $50K. But that's not his time working on it and that's parts for free or at cost. The ongoing cost is what gets expensive. Just hauling it to the races is expensive. He's young (24) and doesn't have many bills so it's his hobby. Would love to see him break the record within a year.
