The Best and Worst Protein Powders | Eat This Not That

Scum, weren't you looking for organic or better quality protein powders. I read it quickly but thought i'd share it.

Thanks for the link, bro. Lots of choices to look into there!

Yeah, Moochie and I were having a debate on good protein powders. The problem is that just like other supplements, we don't really know how good their ingredients are and how clean their manufacturing process is.

Scrum I know you are anti cannabis and all its constituents but Traders Joe's Hemp protein is the best. The label is good too ...

"Isn't it HIGH time you tried something new? Then try hemp! Hemp is a good source of protein that is HIGH in Omega-3, HIGH in Omega-6, and HIGH in fiber. And, Trader Joe's Vanilla Flavored Organic Hemp Protein Powder comes HIGHLY recommended by folks we hold in very HIGH esteem."

I've never heard scrum say he's anti cannabis. I doubt that.

Traps, I tried hemp protein once and it tasted terrible. Maybe it was just a bad flavor. I'll check it out again to see if it is any better.

I found the trader joes chocolate one to taste a bit nutty with a mild chocolate aftertaste. It's actually pleasant and not overpowering the taste grew on me.

Bro, you get what you pay for. If I were you I would use 1 scoop per serving to make it last. If you spent half of what the rest of us spend on gear and supplements you'd be surprised how much everything costs.

I would do some research figure out whats best for you but don't base it solely on cost.

If you want organic "grass-fed" your going to pay. The Paleo Egg is much cheaper.

I don't need organic necessarily. However, it would be nice to know some details of how these companies manufacture their products, where the ingredients come from, etc. I would pay for reputation and knowing that my protein isn't being mixed up in some guy's bathtub.

Cheaper to eat organic beef and chicken than to supplement with protein powder.
