Thing is, cops deal with thousands of black people probably doing crazy shit in some cases every single day. If the cop acts rationally and doesn't shoot the story doesn't make the news.
To that same effect, cops deal with thousands of white people probably doing crazy shit in some cases and if a white guy does get shot, that will not make the news other than local.
So what we have is the media helping to paint a picture that isn't entirely accurate.
Black guy doesn't get shot... Doesn't make the news.
White guy gets shot and killed... Doesn't make the news. -

Most aren't saying that, just a few bad apples. Just like a few bad apples don't make all cops bad.
