  • MRI aka Torture Chamber.....lol

I must be getting soft in my old age! I had to have an MRI on my pituitary gland last night. So basically they had to scan my head. I knew it was gonna be a tight fit in that tube but to make it worse they put this box type thing over my face, it had a opening for my eye and nose were kinda exposed. It was rough! After about 20 mins which seemed like a life time, my back, my ass and the back of my head were burning and it was so hard to ignore it and stay still.

Finally I said "Fuck this shit!" and I hit the panic button. I was actually finished with the first phase as I hit the button so Im not counting that as a give up...lol

They slide me out and they wanted to inject me with contrast for the second phase. I asked, "How much longer??" Lady says "10 mins or so" I was like, "Im not doing 10 more minutes in that thing." So I got up and stretched out and used the bathroom. It was funny because this tiny little nurse that was probably 60 years old, grabs my hand and says "Its just a big machine that makes alot of noise" LMAO!

So I asked them to just tell me how long each picture is going to be. We had to get 4 more pictures. So I get in and she tells me the first one is 5 mins so I just layed there counting down 5 mins and I got it done. Ive never had any problems like that before. I think that cage thing on my face was just a little too much...lol

This is kinda what they put your face in but mine was more square. Oh and I forgot to mention they shoved sponges in the opening to lock my head in securely.

You are getting soft. Been in there multiple times. Just gotta do it especially knowing it's for your own good.

                  Kratom would be better.

The more I read the more I really think I have one of these tumors! But 90% of the shit I read I think I have....lol But one of my symptoms is having to piss all the time. I honestly wake up every 2 hours to piss. I just came across this...

"Occasionally a pituitary tumor causes diabetes insipidus, which results in frequent urination and excessive thirst. ... Cushing's: The term “Cushing's Disease” refers to the overproduction of cortisol by the adrenal glands caused by a pituitary tumor producing too much of the pituitary hormone, ACTH."

I just noticed on my bloodwork that ACTH was flagged as High.

Relax and stop reading until you receive the results.

I had one with the contrast and apparently I'm allergic to the iodine because I threw up all over the place

That's scary stuff. My mom is allergic to iodine as well. When she had her first MRI done, she swelled up instantly and couldn't breathe. Thankfully, they treated her instantly and gave her another contrast
